Key Plastics shortlisted for Two Awards at the 2019 IMR Manufacturing and Supply Chain Awards

Key Plastics is delighted to have been nominated for two awards, Smart Factory Manufacturer of the Year and Engineering Manufacturing Team of the Year, at this year’s Inaugural Manufacturing and Supply Chain Awards for high-impact companies.

The Awards celebrate Ireland’s brightest, close-knit manufacturing teams across 15 different categories. The emphasis on professionalism and working together will be recognised at the awards ceremony on the 17th of January 2019. High impact manufacturing businesses are firms that deliver significant results though keeping their workforce engaged and maintaining a foundation of strong values. 

A total of 45 companies have been shortlisted for the awards across 15 categories which are taking place for the first time. Dedication, hard work and innovation from Ireland’s leading manufacturers will be recognised at the unique event.

Key Plastics is delighted to have been nominated for two awards:

Smart Factory Manufacturer of the Year

Smart manufacturing takes advantage of advanced information and manufacturing technologies to enable flexibility in physical processes to address a dynamic and global market. The winner will demonstrate the best use of data and AI to maximise its competitive advantage within the manufacturing facility. From design and innovation to supply chain and operations, this award looks at how data is gathered and used effectively to improve decision making, develop the design process and control machinery and equipment

Engineering Manufacturing Team of the Year

The award celebrates the success of Engineering Manufacturing Companies. Recognising the hard work, innovation and dedication. Judges are looking for a team that has brought the most to a manufacturing site in the past 12 months, through innovative work, close collaboration with customers or an improvement to internal operations.

Nominees: Winners will be presented on the awards night under the following categories (Engineering, Food, ICT, Medtech & BioPharma)
