The AG40L SinkerEDM features Sodicks Linear Motor Drives. These fast linear motor drives (1,400 “/min feed speeds) combined with high 1.2G acceleration creates its own natural and even flushing conditions.

The Sodick machine is state of the art and fitted with the latest LN2 controller, a unit which incorporates all functions necessary for high-speed, high-precision and high-efficiency EDM work.

A further advantage for this machine is that it features an energy -saving design. Compared to conventional EDM’s, the Sodick Sinker can reduce average energy consumption by up to 60%
