This investment strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality precision engineering, mould design and manufacture, and metrology services to our customers in Ireland and internationally.
About Key Precision
Key Precision was created to reflect our commitment to accuracy, reliability, and high-end engineering. We support customers from the earliest design stages through to full production and ongoing tool maintenance. Our work includes product design, design for manufacture, prototyping, validation, and production support.
Our main areas of expertise include:
Product Design and DFM
We assist customers in turning concepts into fully optimised designs. Our engineering team uses modern CAD and simulation tools to reduce manufacturing costs, improve performance and ensure that moulds and components are ready for efficient production
Mould Design and Manufacture
We design and manufacture moulds in-house. When required, we also work with approved external partners.
Toolmaking
Our team of experienced toolmakers manufactures new moulds and also handles a wide range of maintenance and repair work. Available services include Laser welding, Spark erosion, Wire erosion, CNC machining, collection and delivery options.
Precision Engineering
We manufacture complex parts using 3 & 5 axis CNC Machining and Turning. We can support small prototype runs as well as larger production quantities.
Metrology Services
Our metrology department provides dimensional inspection, surface analysis, first-article inspection and batch consistency checks. These services are especially valuable for customers in regulated sectors such as medical device manufacturing.
The New Facility
Our newly opened Key Precision site has been designed specifically to support our growing engineering activity. It includes dedicated CNC Production Machining areas, Mould Manufacture and Maintenance, metrology laboratories, design and prototyping rooms and quality control areas.

- CNC Machining: 3 Axis up to 2000mm / 5 Axis up to 1200mm
- Relevant certifications such as ISO 13485 and AS9100 apply to our mould service and repair operations.

The new building allows us to consolidate design, engineering, machining and metrology in one location. This improves turnaround time, increases capacity, and gives customers a more streamlined service. It also gives us greater control over every stage of the engineering process.
